I need to invite someone over for dinner.

Having people in my home is something that God wants me to do, but it also helps me to clean my house. When I am expecting guests I become efficient and organized, suddenly capable of planning wonderful meals, keeping up with my housework, and keeping my children orderly.

If someone were to drop in today they would find pebbles in the soap dispenser in the bathroom, counters cluttered with more paper than I know what to do with, and a slipper stuck in a glob of goo on my kitchen floor. All of these things can be remedied quickly, in under 15 minutes. If only I could muster the motivation.

So, who wants to come for dinner?

  1. Uh...hello???!

Sorry I didn't call ya back. This week has gone so fast (they always do when Billy's in town).

Today, he's had to be under the house working on the crawl space. Ewwww....

  2. I'm going to have to blog about the last time Lee went under our crawl space! HILARIOUS!

I'm so glad it's going to work out! That's giving me the motivation to clean MYSELF up!

  3. Working best under pressure? Meeee too.

    I'm really enjoying your blog!
